Our Story

Some of our team have been with the practice since we first established in 1987.

​That link between the generations is what makes Caerphilly Veterinary Clinic a true family. And it’s not just us who think that, as we’ve been told by many of our clients that they and their pets feel like they’re part of our family too. 

​Those personal relationships within our community drive us to deliver the very best veterinary service we can, with the most compassionate care.

​One thing that has changed over the years is our facilities, and we’re very proud of what we can offer today. 

​After expanding the practice in 2015, we now have cat-specific zones that have seen us awarded the title of gold standard Cat Friendly Clinic by International Society of Feline Medicine – only the second practice in Wales to achieve this.

The Pet Shop, our range of pet foods and retail goods have been developed with your pet’s welfare in mind, and can be found in our expanded waiting rooms.

And our original building has become our surgery and in-patient area, with an array of diagnostic equipment and separate dog and cat wards. 

 

​We believe that the maintenance of good health is at the heart of good veterinary care, and encourage our clients to visit us regularly.
