If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency situation during our opening hours, please call ahead to advise us that you are attending the practice so that we can ensure we are ready for your arrival.
Our out of hours service is supplied by Valley 24/7, who are based at Valley Vets’ modern veterinary hospital in Gwaelod y Garth.
If you have an emergency outside of our opening hours, please call us on 029 2086 9928 and follow the instructions. Your call will then be transferred to Valley 24/7.

Their experienced and dedicated emergency team members are available to support you and your pet on evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and have access to extensive facilities and equipment.
If your pet needs to be hospitalised at Valley 24/7, then their team, where appropriate, will arrange for your pet to be transported to our practice by ambulance when we reopen, so that you can collect your pet from us.
All information relating to treatment at Valley 24/7 is transferred to us the next working day, allowing for continuity of high quality care.
